About This Home

This restored bungalow places you in the heart of Fort Worth’s Fairmount Historic District, where broad front porches and neighborly conversation remain part of daily life. The porch swing offers a front-row seat to the neighborhood—ideal for slow mornings, evening drinks and catching up with friends as they pass by. Inside, refinished original wood floors preserve the home’s history, while wainscoting, custom cabinetry and a wood-burning fireplace add depth and character. The eat-in kitchen is equipped with newer appliances, granite countertops and ample storage, with room for both everyday meals and casual entertaining. The primary bedroom includes an inventive closet system with a sliding barn door that doubles as a window covering and distinctive design feature. In the full bath, a timeless black-and-white palette is finished with gold fixtures for a polished, glamorous look. The generously sized backyard is arranged for both entertaining and play, with fresh plantings, lush grass, a cozy fire pit area, custom garden shed for storage with a workbench, and a whimsical tree house. Walkable to the dining and entertainment on Magnolia Avenue, close to TCU, downtown and the medical district. The washer, dryer, and kitchen refrigerator will convey to the new owner.
